MADE FOR DRINK

Made for Drink, a premium bar snacks start-up, required promotional imagery for various media outlets including a magazine feature and their website.

This was a fast-paced project, which required a swift turnaround of imagery ready for print needed both studio and location shoots to create the desired outcome.

The initial brief was to create images of their product with accompanying drinks in a pub or bar.  Given the short timeline, I also decided to shoot some images in the studio on a vintage table top to give the appearance of being in a bar in case any problems occurred with the location shoot. After exploring some of our local shops for some suitable dishes it was time to get to work!

The concept for the studio shoot was to have the products on a table, as if they were being shared with friends whilst having a drink.  These ‘back up’ images actually turned out to be the clients (and my) preferred choice.

On location, I shot two variations of the images: the first set on the bar was how I envisioned the shoot going, but after actually shooting them I wasn’t completely happy so ended up switching the background to the fireplace.  After setting the product and lighting up I got got the fire lit and was away!  These images I was immediately happier with,  they are more ‘traditional’ in style but much warmer compared to the images on the bar.
